(6) Trachoma/micropore
Sand holes and micropores are mainly the air brought in during the production and construction of the gel coat and the remaining volatile substances and small molecules that did not participate in the curing reaction. They were not completely discharged or discharged during the curing process, but the gel coat was cured before it was leveled. Caused by:
◇ The gel coat has a short gel time, a large amount of curing agent is added or the surface of the mold is stained with curing agent.
◇ The spray glue is not well atomized or the spray gun pressure is too high.
◇ Excessive bubbles are brought in during the production and construction of the gel coat.
◇ Mold surface contamination, improper selection of release agent.
◇ The gel coat is too thick.
